A Durable, Environmentally Friendly Beer Package For New Trail Brewing Co.

New Trail Brewing Co. needed a new package at retail for a new size can. The package needed to withstand refrigerated environment conditions and it had to be designed with a handle that is strong enough to support the weight of the product. New Trail Brewing Co. also requested for the package structure to be designed around the ease of hand-filling and sealing.

The Bottom Line

Our designers engineered a laminated paperboard solution with a reinforced handle that is strong enough to meet supply chain needs and withstand multiple handlings at retail. The package was designed for hand setup, filling, and final sealing using an auto bottom on one end and a tuck close with a double tab lock closure on the other end for security and protection of the product. Our digital press was able to print upscale graphics that helped the package convey a perceived pureness of the product. They also wanted to incorporate a coupon that was printed and hidden inside of the package.
