Sustainable and Eye-Catching Club Store Packaging

HOW SNAX-SATIONALS WAS ABLE TO STAND OUT WITH SUPERIOR SHELF APPEAL

SNAX-Sationals, a producer of healthy snacks, needed a club store-ready package with high-end graphics for superior shelf appeal. The package needed to be of strong enough material to handle the weight of the product while also protecting it through the club store supply chain. Finally, a required price point needed to be met.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Drawing on years of research and development, Great Northern engineered a custom substrate that performs exceptionally well to maintain package integrity in club store environments. The auto-bottom RSC top was designed for ease of fulfillment on a semi-automated packing line. This packaging solution also reduced costs with a newly formulated recycled baseboard substrate. The use of a white background with dark accent colors makes the product stand out while also creating a perceived value of a superior quality product. The graphics are positioned so that an impressive billboard effect is created when palletized. The multiple SKU’s are distinguished by different branding colors and a UV coating was used for shine and rub resistance.
