Cost-Effective Packaging for Craft Beer

HOW WE HELPED DENVER BREWING COMPANY WIN BY DOING WHAT OTHERS CAN’T OR WON’T
Denver Brewing Company (DBC) had an opportunity to launch a new 24 variety-pack of canned beer into club stores. For the 24-pack to be successful at retail, they wanted high-end graphics and a packaging structure that would withstand the rigors of the supply chain, and multiple transitions in and out of a refrigerated environment.
Also, because club stores rotate brands every 90 days, DBC didn’t want to buy large volumes of packaging until it could prove the customer demand for the new case pack. A typical offset print solution requires a minimum order of 50,000 pieces to meet a target price point. DBC only needed 10,000 pieces to test the new product, and needed to find a more flexible solution to avoid excess inventory.
The Solution

Superior graphics

High-gloss coating for greater retail appeal

Flexibility and efficiency allows for multiple versions and varieties to be ran

3-ply reinforced handle installed to withstand the heavy weight
THE BOTTOM LINE
